How to Change Others Quickly?

It is a norm in all spheres of life to get changed: evolving to a different state or moving from one dimension to another. If we truly assess the origin of the change, this won’t happen suddenly or easily. From individual’s thinking-through-habits to group behaviours, there are tacit, or explicit, process that stimulate this phenomenon.

Here are some broader suggestions to quickly instigate the changes:

A. Preparation

(1) Break the goal into smaller pieces without losing the overall picture.
(2) Ready with most enough facts and factors to effectively uphold your goal, so that it will help in the next step. Technically it's called Formative Assessments, etc. and its depth will vary.

B. Execution

(3) Start with individual focus and then try to bring in the group / external perspectives to have a longer effect on the individual, and vice versa (from group facts to individual ones while addressing the group).
(4) Be open about the unknown areas but insist the positive sides of the change to reduce the stigma.
(5) Implement the change and simultaneously control the factors affecting the changes using agreed-contingency plans.

C. Manage

(6) Since, in some cases, the rate of change will appear very slow, we need measure this carefully against the calculated pattern of change vs time.

The following may be called change-enablers:

  1. Knowledge Growth
  2. Improved Communication Channels
  3. Full-fledged Cooperation
  4. Decimating Fear and Stigma
  5. Planning for Unknown circumstances (Fall-backs).

Please add more enablers and your thoughts in the comments below.
